ClanTiger Clan CMS

Because our users matter, we have built another patch that addresses some of the smaller issues in ClanTiger 1.1.2. The new patch 1.1.3 is available now. It is not urgent to install this patch because it has no security updates.

• saved mysql case sensitivity problems when saving matches, profiles or servers

• fixed news archive showing blank page

New security issues have been discovered and it is important that you upgrade right away to protect yourself from any hacking attempts.

This patch addresses the following issues:

• removed error report in admin
• added paragraph parsing
• fixed deleting news comment issue
• added favicon default
• removed powered by clantiger from title
• fixed copyright for search engine power
• re-ordered the load to display correct information
• fixed error page to display correct stylesheet url
• fixed length of ip
• plugged sql injection
• removed slashes if magic quotes is on

Again, we can not stress enough that it is important to upgrade your website. People that have magic_quotes enabled are not affected by this security issue.

We were informed of possible security issues within the ClanTiger core. To ensure you are protected against these security threats, download the patch right away.
Besides the security patch, we’ve also patched the forum topic & post count issue.

You can find the patch file on the downloads page . If you already have 1.1 installed, only download the patch file and upload the files in it to your server.

After 5 painstaking months, I believe that ClanTiger 1.1 is ready to be released. Unlike last release, this one should be more stable since it has been tested by a great community, and now clantiger team, member named FLOW.

Many things have changed since 1.0, like the CMS being renamed to ClanTiger. This was done to re-awaken the community and Google rankings. At this time, we’re not ranked at all but our competitors CCMS and Pro Clan CMS are holding first and second place hostage. As for features and bugfixes, you can see a changelog at the bottom of this post.

The next thing that is going to happen for ClanTiger is creating more templates and a developer/designer manual.

As from version 1.1, GameQ will be used to query the server addresses you enter into the ClanCommandCenter Clan CMS. GameQ has proven to be the most reliable and easy to implement when it comes to game server querying scripts.

GameQ will be used to fetch the amount of players, server name, password, the current player names and their scores, server status and map.

GameQ is a library to query one or more gameservers using UDP and return the formatted results in an array. It’s object-oriented, and easily expandable.
GameQ has recently been completely rewritten, and is still in the alpha phase.

Currently over 140 games are supported.
